FCM Adds Four Products to Its SmartSUITE to Further Enhance, Streamline and Save on Corporate Travel

SmartTRACK, SmartPAY, SmartRATE, and SmartFARE Address Unused Ticket Tracking, Virtual Payment, Hotel Rate Monitoring, and Low Fare Flight Tracking


New York, NY -- FCM has expanded its SmartSUITE of products with SmartTRACK, SmartPAY, SmartRATE, and SmartFARE, all of which have a common end goal: enhancing, streamlining reporting, saving money and adding value to corporate travel. These new technology tools complement the existing product solutions within the FCM SmartSUITE line, namely SmartSTAY, a curated hotel program offering exclusively discounted rates, value added amenities and/or loyalty reward benefits. Also part of the programming is SmartDRIVE, a specially designed car rental program that provides additional discounts, capped rates and value with selected car rental partners, and SmartSTART, a 30-day seamless implementation plan.

Following is an overview of the four new products:

  • SmartTRACK intelligently detects and tracks unused e-tickets and monitors the segments until they are exchanged or used. The system provides automatic GDS scans every 15 minutes to monitor ticket status in tandem with a daily verification scan to monitor previously recorded ticket status. SmartTRACK also has the ability to track non-GDS tickets, make same-day additions to a profile, sends 30/60/90-day expiry notices and delivers robust reporting through the FCM ClientBank Connect reporting platform.
  • SmartPAY is FCM's solution to the hassles that come with corporate cards and other traveler-specific purchasing cards. By using virtual payment card technology each transaction is assigned its own 16-digit number is less than a second and securely transmitted to the supplier; booking to payment matching is done instantly and automatically. SmartPAY eliminates the high risk of fraud associated with ghost and purchasing cards, while eliminating the arduous reconciliation process, which is now automatic. The benefits are numerous: reduced risk, more control, enhanced data and an improved traveler experience. SmartPAY requires setting up a virtual card pool with an integrated banking partner. There is also a pre-funded option available with eNett that earns 5% back monthly on total transacted volume.
  • SmartRATE was developed by FCM to monitor hotel rate fluctuations to ensure travelers get the best possible rate for their stay. Delivered in conjunction with FCM's technology partner, tripBAM, the tool allows for the automatic searching of better rates for their booked travel through FCM, either within the existing hotel and similar room categories, or through the use of tripBAM's clustering technology for comparable hotels within a defined geographic range. Rate comparison rules are established by customers and re-bookings are automatically handled by FCM's consultants with advanced reporting on savings through FCM's ClientBank Connect reporting tool.
  • SmartFARE is FCM's solution for monitoring low fare opportunities with booked air tickets. Delivered in conjunction with our technology partner, Yapta, the product automatically re-shops customer designed airline tickets searching for lower fare opportunities. Travelers are able to configure their own rules and workflow with re-booking opportunities performed by FCM, leveraging existing corporate airline programs or FCM proprietary airline programs, to increase air program savings. Detailed reporting and analysis is also provided through FCM's ClientBank Connect reporting tool.

These new enhancements follow the highly-anticipated launch of Sam, FCM's new travel-intelligent "chatbot" that works hand in hand with the expertise of FCM consultants. Launched within the FCM SmartSUITE of products, Sam, short for "Smart Assistant for Mobile," is available at all times: pre-, during, and post-trip. The app is live in the US iTunes App Store (search "FCM") for Apple devices.
