ARC Gears Up to “Power Travel” at GBTA's 2012 Convention in Boston

Exhibit Features Data Solutions Designed for Attendees

ARLINGTON, Va. July 17, 2012  ARC will display a cross section of the companys advanced products and solutions July 23-25 at the GBTA 2012 Convention in Boston, the Global Business Travel Associations premier industry event. The diverse solutions, which will be shown in ARCs We Power Travel themed exhibit booth (#2727), provide airlines, travel management companies, and corporate travel departments with the ability to employ ARCs deep data repository of air ticket transactions to make fact-based business decisions.

Nightlights Reception
ARC will be hosting a Nightlights after-dinner reception for attendees on Tuesday, July 24, from 9 p.m. until midnight. Attendees are invited to stop by booth #2727 to receive an admission wristband and get a boost from a complimentary energy drink.

ARC Powers Travel
ARCs exhibit booth will feature interactive iPad displays about all the ways ARC powers travel for corporate buyers and suppliers. Visitors will learn how ARC led the effort to help carriers and travel sellers process Electronic Miscellaneous Documents (EMD). ARC has been EMD-ready since November 2010, more than three years ahead of schedule. ARC has already processed EMDs for two airlines, is in the final testing with two others, and has successfully completed testing with Amadeus, Sabre, and Travelport.

ARC made news recently when its board of directors approved an updated version of the companys Agent Reporting Agreement (ARA). The revised ARA, which is the foundation of the U.S. travel industry

created through vigorous collaboration between travel agencies, airlines, and ARC. The new version will go into effect in July 2013, addressing the realities of today

Members of the media who would like to interview attending ARC executives or request a corporate or product background briefing should contact Peter Abzug, Director of Corporate Communications, at pabzug@arccorp.com or 703.582.5818 (mobile).
