Sabre Hospitality Solutions wins prestigious “People’s Choice Innovation Award”
Business Travelers vote the Sabre Hotel RFP tool best in class
SOUTHLAKE, Texas, August 18, 2011 – Sabre Hospitality Solutions, the industry's leading global hospitality technology company, has been recognized for its market-leading innovation at the Business Traveler Innovation Awards 2011.
The Sabre Hotel RFP tool, an online hotel sourcing and rate negotiation tool that brings corporations and agencies together with hotels, won the People's Choice Award in the travel management category. The awards are backed by the Global Business Travel Association and the Wall Street Journal.
Business travelers were asked to nominate services, products and ideas that help make life on the road more productive. Sabre Hotel RFP received the most votes in the category, and will be presented with the People's Choice Award at the GBTA convention in Denver, Colorado, on Tuesday, August 23. Sabre will also present before a panel of judges for a shot at best overall travel innovation of 2011.
Launched in 2006, Sabre Hotel RFP is used by more than 1,500 global corporations and agencies, including hundreds of members of the Fortune 1,000. The tool, which is compatible across all GDSs, provides access to more than 100,000 hotels worldwide. Users can generate GBTA-compliant RFPs and utilize the tool's intelligent decision engine to generate reports and, new for 2011, automated room night volume collection.
