Brand Announces Key Features That Make Traveling Easy for Long-Term Guest
MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Home2 Suites by Hilton, the mid-tier, extended-stay hotel brand targeting savvy, cost-conscious, extended-stay guests announces key features that make long-term stays a pleasure instead of a challenge. With the first location set to open in Fayetteville, N.C. by year-end 2010 and multiple other locations set to open in 2011, the brand will quickly expand nationwide.
"Extended-stay travelers are looking for a place where they can still be an individual," said Bill Duncan, Global Head, Brand Management, Home2 Suites by Hilton. "Home2 Suites was designed to assure that every guest can easily find what they need to suit their specific needs. Whether this means socializing with others, staying connected to family through technology or even cooking a favorite recipe in their suite -- we've got them covered."
Showing a commitment to the comfort of guests, engaging service, expansive community spaces and cutting-edge amenities are the foundation for Home2 Suites. When guests stay at Home2 Suites, their living space expands outside of the suite and includes the Oasis - a collection of community spaces -- and various outdoor living areas as well, including lounge space, grills and a walking trail. Guest conveniences in the community spaces include a combined laundry and fitness area; the Home2 MKT, which offers toiletries, grab-and-go items and microwave dinners; business center with dual workstations, complimentary wireless printing, and high-speed WiFi internet; a Coffee2 Tea area, offering 24-hour beverages, including earth-friendly to-go cups; recycling center; and even a daily complimentary inspired breakfast that includes a large variety of items that assure breakfast will never get boring for guests, no matter what their length of stay.
A good night's sleep and comfortable in-suite accommodations are essential to a guest's productivity while on the road. Home2 Suites has assured the comfort of every guest through Serta Sweet Dreams mattresses; full kitchenettes with Energy Star appliances and place-settings for six; 42" flat-screen LCD TVs; a working wall, which provides impressive areas for display, storage and organization; a colorful drapery divider that allows for division of space; pull-out couch with pillow-top mattress; moveable furniture including an ottoman, desk and nesting side tables; ergonomic desk chair; contemporary lighting; sleek bathroom with dual-flush toilet and bulk shower amenities; technology including multiple outlets, high-speed WIFI internet and wireless printing, iHome alarm clock and media hub in one-bedroom suites that allow guests to plug in their own electronics and enjoy from their suite.
Home2 also takes pride in making earth-friendly accommodations available to guests and made sustainable choices in the design of the hotel whenever possible. Multiple surfaces and materials used in the hotel are made of recycled content, but the most noticeable features that impact guest satisfaction include the availability of recycling in both common areas in in-suite; dishes, glasses, mugs and cutlery instead of disposable place settings; Energy Star appliances in suites, including refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave/convection oven; dual-flush toilets, water-saving showerhead and bulk amenities in bathrooms; compact fluorescent lighting; and Light Touch housekeeping practices.
