TRX Adds Key Enhancements To Reservation Processing Technology
Point of Sale Applications and Other Tools Can Utilize Individual CORREX Services
ATLANTA, — TRX, Inc. (www.trx.com) (Other OTC: TRXI.PK), the world-leading provider of travel technology, process automation, consulting and data services, today announces latest round of enhancements to the CORREX® reservation processing and automation technology platform.
New enhancements enable online booking, agent desktop, and other third-party travel applications to access and initiate specific CORREX services, such as unused e-ticket tracking, schedule change processing or auto-ticketing, without having to 'queue' the passenger name record through the GDS, thereby reducing overall processing times and improving reservation quality.
"Enabling direct access to CORREX helps our clients reduce costs by driving quality improvements at the point-of-sale and decreasing labor costs associated with exception processing," said David Jackson, Vice President, TRX. "This latest enhancement, as well as our recent self-service offering release, is all part of our effort to help clients drive costs out of their businesses."
The new CORREX self-service application deploys a robust user interface bringing the full-power of the application to the end-user. Clients are now empowered to define how and when traveler reservations are processed for automated quality control, auto-ticketing, unused e-ticket tracking, and itinerary email delivery. The application also provides real-time information and status alerts on operational and system performance via flex-based dashboards, greatly increasing visibility into travel operations.
CORREX is the world's market-leading reservation processing platform enabling efficient, automated quality control, file finishing, and ticketing of travel reservations. CORREX processes nearly 100 million traveler reservations from over 40 countries around the globe each year and leverages in excess of 50,000 rules and queries designed to improve efficiency and reservation quality. The platform allows agents to consolidate pre-travel and reservation reporting across multiple Global Distribution Systems (GDSs), third-party and corporation-specific databases, and other sources of traveler-specific information.
