CHELSEA, MA -- Dav El Chauffeured Transportation Network is pleased to announce the addition of Robert Van Ess as Vice President, Mid-Atlantic Region.

"Robert brings a wealth of industry experience of close to two decades in the chauffeured transportation business,” said Dav El President and Chief Executive Officer, Scott A. Solombrino. "I am confident he will be a solid asset to our strong sales team.”

Under the management of Steve Pitel, vice president, worldwide sales, Van Ess will be responsible for acquisition and development of new business throughout the Mid-Atlantic region including Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and the District of Columbia. In his new role Van Ess will also be responsible for full execution, administration, and customer service of each client.

Van Ess brings to Dav El Chauffeured Transportation Network a solid industry foundation of demonstrated effective results in client development, as well as customer service, including international client relations, and strategic planning.

In his most recently held industry-based position of senior vice president of national accounts he secured a number of top Fortune 500 companies, executed preferred supplier agreements, and managed marketing efforts on a national and global basis.

Van Ess is also a member of the Association of Corporate Travel Executives, Meeting Professionals International, NBTA, New Jersey Travel Managers, and SKAL.
