CHICAGO -- Amadeus, a leading travel technology partner and transaction processor for the global travel and tourism industry, is taking corporate managed travel "beyond the desktop" at this year's 2010 National Business Travel Association (NBTA) International Conference and Exposition in Houston, August 8-11. Amadeus will showcase a great line-up of educational sessions, experts, sponsored activities, and technology demonstrations.
"Continued innovation and new approaches are critical in today's business environment. That's why at NBTA, Amadeus will be featuring the technology innovation and business inspiration to help the corporate travel marketplace stay at the forefront," said Vic Pynn, Executive Vice President, who heads up Amadeus' corporate travel efforts in the Americas region.
Last year at NBTA, Amadeus unveiled the Amadeus One desktop, the unique Web-based, multi-source, customizable point-of-sale solution for U.S. corporate travel agencies. This year at NBTA, in addition to showcasing new developments related to the Amadeus One desktop, Amadeus will unveil new and expanded IT offerings in the Amadeus One portfolio that go beyond the point-of-sale. These include profile and data automation, an open technology framework, and third-party integration capabilities to deliver enhanced service across a U.S. agency's entire operations.
"From the beginning, Amadeus' vision was to develop a comprehensive IT portfolio to serve the specific needs of the U.S. corporate travel marketplace. The Amadeus One solution suite is here and we are thrilled to be delivering on our commitment," said Pynn.
A schedule of Amadeus activities and events at NBTA follows:
